GoldCoast Homecare was founded by Carlin Longley, a Registered Professional Nurse, with over a decade of providing service to others in need.
Carlin started GoldCoast Homecare because he recognizes the importance of high-quality senior home care services and knows that his compassion for helping others coupled with his strong value-set will make a positive impact on his clients’ lives.
ABOUT GOLDCOAST
GoldCoast Homecare is a provider of non-medical in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities based in Oakland, California. Our in-home care services enable our clients to live higher quality lives, in addition to providing the family with peace of mind. GoldCoast is owned and operated by a Registered Nurse, and our team is dedicated to helping seniors age in place.
Whether you need help performing activities of daily living, are looking for companionship, or need something else altogether, our team of caring providers is here to help seniors and adults with disabilities residing in Contra Costa County & Alameda County. We’re not a home care franchise and recognize that you’re not just another client; we will give you and your loved ones the individualized attention that you deserve.
Our smaller size enables us to provide focused, managed care in addition to competitive prices and flexible in-home care options for seniors.
OUR HIRING PROCESS
GoldCoast Homecare is careful about whom we hire. We receive many applicants, but only hire approximately 1 out of every 30 applicants to work as caregivers. We verify educational history, check professional references, licensure status, federal and county background checks, motor vehicle abstracts, and more.
Although all of our caregivers have several years of experience, we provide comprehensive training for each of our employees to ensure our in-home care is always safe and consistent.
Our caregivers also have access to over 200 hours of courses and continuing education programs they can use to continually enhance their skills. Having higher skilled caregivers means we can deliver a higher, safer level of in-home care.
