Find Care & Housing
no. Your “duty” is to your husband and children. Tell Mom you can’t do it all. Says I’m sorry I love you but for my own health i can not take on any more. And it isin’t duty it is life. If you cant add any more tasks, say sorry and drop it. Your brother probably won’t, but your offer is at it stands. Stay strong you have a full plate.

Another "you're the daughter, so you have to caregive" family dynamic huh?

You are not being selfish; they are!

Do not pay for her care!

Do not provide care yourself!

Leave your selfish brother and mother to their own devices, raise your children, and live your life.

You are not responsible for your mother's care, legally or morally.

I repeat, do NOT financially help her unless you are independently wealthy (mulit-millionaire), else you'll spend up your nest egg on her, and in 40 years your kids will be stuck in the same position with you.
