I would also vote for no cell phone. Let the Nursing home or the sitter call if it's an emergency. They are able to handle things like that there, even including the non emergency issues. But If you decide to give the cell phone back, then when she calls you, have it sent to voice mail. Listen to the messages, You have the option to decide if you want to call her back or not. If the messages are ugly, then don't bother responding.
