Onions, since you asked your question as part of someone else's thread, you have to go cack to that thread. VA Aid and Attendance is an aid program for veterans and their spouses, if they served during war time, not necessarily in a war zone. In the blue area on this site, click on Veterans. You'll get there information you need.
Onions: Another way to find your questions or prior posts:
1) Click on your own screen name or avatar. 2) At the top right of the page should be a box titled: "MY ACCOUNT". 3) Click on "Activity". 4) Click on the question you want to read.
Hope this was helpful.
The caregivers on this website have helped me learn to navigate this website. I am still having an enjoyable time changing my avatar photo regularly.
Er... If you go back to the thread you started you should be able to see them? On the other hand, if you haven't been able to do that you're not going to see this response either... :/
I think, if you go to your profile, you can set up alerts too. I'll check.

Answers to a question? How do I know when someone has responded to my questions on here? My mother lives with my sister and receives VA Aid & Attendance. Can my sister claim her as a dependent on her taxes without loss of benefit? May I ask what VA Aid & Attendance is? Dementia caregiver payment, how did you come to the amount that was agreeable for you both? I have 5 other siblings and when my father passed away in 2016 my mother wanted to live with me, as I'm the only one who could "ever" take care of her like I do. Getting paid for being a parent's caregiver? When my father passed away in June 2016, I became my mothers caregiver (she lives with me). Just wonder if anyone deals with pre-death anxiety of a loved one? I agree with everyone in regards to never being "prepared". It's like I'm two people -one calm, and a very angry person under the surface. Does anyone else feel like the Incredible Hulk? what is frontal dementia? How can I possibly be experiencing caregiver burnout after only 6 weeks? WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT YOU "OVERHEARD", IT'S HARD TO GIVE ANY ADVICE. Can my son and family move into my home without me losing Medicaid? THIS IS AN EXCELLENT QUESTION, AS I TOO, AM NOW TAKING CARE OF MY ELDERLY MOTHER WITH DEMENTIA IN MY HOME. What should I do if my mom wants me to quit my job to take care of her? With all due respect, at this point in time, I don't think it's "up" to your mother weather she wants to go into assisted living or not
