Yes, it is allowed, unless you specifically say in the contract/notes that you don't want that to happen.

The patient/resident is usually a lot more bothered by it than the male attendants.

Yes, they are, as are female attendants normally allowed to accompany male patients. For special needs consideration speak to the administration.

This is becoming fairly common as more men choose nursing and hands on care roles.

My mom's BEST aide was a man named Juan. He was able to lift and position her better than anyone else.

Is your mother uncomfortable with male aides or nurses?

Best nurse I ever had was a male. It is business for them and nothing else.

Yes. CNA, RN, Paramedic, certainly can be male or female, or non-binary.

Grace, you haven’t explained what this is about. If it’s a complaint from a third party that two men went into the ladies’ toilet, it’s unreasonable. Women use stalls (small or large) with closed doors, so no-one else’s modesty should be offended. It can be a surprise, but it should be clear what’s going on.

About Me
Was caretaker to my husband with alzheimer's and a support for family of friend also with alzheimer's. Now have a female friend with alzheimer's who is in a hospital lockdown unit because she is difficult and I have been told that other facilities will not admit her.

Of course male nurses and aides are permitted to escort a female resident to the restroom! Please do not make your friends life in this facilty more difficult than it should be as this may be her last resort for her behavior issues.

Was the woman complaining? If so the answer is no IMO. My Mom has Dementia and did not like the male aides and nurses touching her so I requested only females. It upset her to where she was screaming.
