What kind of changes?

For instance, if your mom had to move from her house to a nursing home, or even from her house to something smaller, yes, it could exacerbate the Alzheimer's. Something as minor as being out of a routine could exacerbate the Alzheimer's.

Change is very hard on someone with Alzheimer's. Considering that, in the later stages, they often barely recognize where they are and easily get agitated and anxious, even changing bedrooms can cause problems. But continual change is not a good idea. Too much moving, for instance, could exacerbate the disease. Sometimes these things can't be helped, so don't be hard on yourself if that is your case. But if you can avoid a lot of changes, that's better.
Take care,
