Hi guys. I found out today, in the news, that people in the hospital are being shipped out to 'out of town' homes. I guess they the hospital is telling them they will have to pay 1700 a day if they stay there. It's a scary thing and I guess I moved just in time to get my hubby into the home. Brantford is only about 100,000 people but it still is frightening for the poor patients who are in long term homes.
Our government won't pay any more than one hour caregiving a day no matter what shape you are in, so we only have two options. To stay home by ourselves or fork up seventeen hundred a day. I wish we had insurance like you do. Blue cross or blue shield but there's nothing like that here, so far. Can anyone identify?
