My relative was receiving home care that was covered by the fireman’s benefit and his own funds. He was hospitalized and then went into a rehabilitation facility since the home care was not enough for him. He may go back home but his daughter tells us that the home care is still being paid for even though the home health aide is not at his home for over 6 weeks.
How can they charge for her not providing a service? I plan on calling the agency but they’re not open on Sunday? Any idea how that works?
Maybe there’s some contractual agreement.
My moms is not through a fireman’s program so I would report it to the company she was using and share your concerns.
