I believe that you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I always get a second and sometimes a third opinion for anything serious.

To many doctors are not paying attention to the patients and they are looking at the dollars, so I get multiple opinions to ensure that I am getting the treatment required. I had a doctor that wanted to remove my gallbladder and I actually had a hernia.

Do what gives you peace of mind. Best of luck getting this sorted out.

If you like, yes, get a second opinion. Take the test and results of it to the second opinion. The measurements have already been determined by the radiologist reading & certifying the results and the provider you’ve seen first.
As Barb stated at that range the treatment is watch and wait.

If not getting a second opinion is going to cause undue stress and worry, get the second opinion.
Hypothetically, what would you do if the opinions differed greatly? Not an answer I need to know, but one you might need to know.

Mccollum1, are you still caring for your mom at home? Are you worried that if this becomes an emergency, you won't be able to arrange for her care needs?
