Mom takes Naminda in morning and Donepezil at bedtime. This kept her memory loss stable. About three months ago, they discontinued Naminda and she was switched to Naminda XR 28. I have noticed a gradual decline in her memory, where it was a good 4-5 hours and an occasional hiccup, it's now less than an hour sometimes. Walks in room, walks out and has no clue about our conversation a minute later. Has anyone seen the same results with the change in Naminda XR

We're on Nemenda for the second time. First time mom decided it didn't help and stopped cold turkey. A year later, new Dr said that could increase the memory loss which it did. She continues to decline and has been on Nemenda for two months, this time using a starter pack that gradually increased the dosage to 28 mg. We are still seeing a decline. Just can't say it's the result of Nemenda.

thanks Barry L.. Possibly my mom has become immune to it.
Be aware:Mom's doctor cautioned us, a patient can not skip or stop taking this medicine. If there is even a day skip, the memory loss will quickly digress and will continue to decline, even if the patient begins to take the pill on a routine basis.
