My mother has been wearing the pads, but she needs something that will help her with total incontinence. Also they are so expensive, any thoughts
on the cheapest place to purchase them? I still want good ones, but our budget is tight. Are there any agencies that help with this need? Thank you
in advance for your help.

Yes, you’re right. I'm dismayed that “adult diapers” is even a category heading on a site that should know better. “Adult briefs” or “underwear “ is a much less insulting way of referring to them especially to the wearer.

i understand your situation because we are in the same one. We don’t qualify for Medicaid which pays for those supplies. Unfortunately, you pretty much get what you pay for. I don’t care for Depends, which is one of the most popular. Hubby is on diuretics. I’ve found the best way to deal with his “output” is frequent changes, about every 3-4 hours. I buy the briefs from Walgreens. They have “buy one, get one half off” frequently. They’re still expensive, but there aren’t many other options. I’ve purchased the expensive overnight ones from medical supply sites and they do work for about 8-10 hours.

You can also check on Facebook Marketplace as they are frequently listed at a good price.

The Assurance brand from Walmart works well for my mother. The regular and overnights are the same price 14 for $7.88. I purchased washable under pads on Amazon to protect bedding from leaks. The washable pads are better feeling for your LO and you save some money over purchasing the disposable variety. I run a small load of laundry every day of the pads and other stuff. It's easy to put everything in the washer before bed and shift to the dryer in the morning.
